Fancy: Back to the Basics

Fancy: Back to the Basics

If it is one person’s looks who are hard to follow, it is Nicki Minaj. She embodies the most outrageous styles, hair, and make up. The days of dramatic drag queen make up are finally over! Thank you Lawd, right?

Well, what I can say is that it is time to take it back to basics. Ladies, we would spend hours in the bathroom trying to get those eyelashes perfectly attached. By the time you finished getting ready, you would tired. Getting dressed had become more of a chore than what it should be. Putting on face and a great outfit should be FUN.

I think Nicki looks amazing like this and for once I hope she keeps it this way. However, knowing her she may go back to crazy, outlandish looks we are used to. The era of vibrant colors and strange hair colors are slowly a dying collection that we can look back on and say never again. For instance, the look below is very hard to duplicate and have it look fab.

We are no longer wanting to outdo each other. It’s time to embrace you; the fresh face, messy hair, imperfect you. Achieving perfection is impossible and with all the plastic surgery happening these days, it’s hard to tell who got it honest. The things that people hated most about their bodies, have become a hot commodity. Ladies, even Nicki had to tone it down for once. So, let’s take a stand and do what suits us best.
